Family Vacation

We traveled 2100 miles to get to Lincoln City Oregon and By the Waves. We had a fantastic time. The owners are wonderful. Anything we needed was taken care of immediately. The rooms have gorgeous views of the ocean. We even saw whales off in the distance. The weather was a bit chilly, but beautiful at the same time. There is a ton to do all around there up and down the beaches.

Nice View

Nice and clean. We stayed in #1. Too small for 4 people, but we enjoyed our time there,The Owners were nice and helpful. The beach is just a few steps away. We would stay there again. Shopping nearby and lots of restaurants to choose from.

Our only place to stay in LC! VIEW is amazing about one minute to beach!

We have stayed here twice now and love it! My youngest daughter and I had a girls trip which was a blast. Then our family went over Christmas with all four of us in the suite Nautical Notions. It is just the right size for us. The girls loved playing their new Just Dance game on the large flat screen in the living room. Kitchen is perfect and has everything you need to just grab some food from Grocery Outlet there. It is nice and private. The hot tub is wonderful, super clean and we never had to wait for anyone else. The place reminds me of my grandma’s house which is comforting and homey. We love it and wouldn’t change a thing! The best part is the view of the ocean and the few steps across to the beach right in front! Highly recommend! Connie and Doug are such great people that is so hard to find these day! We will be back hopefully soon!

Amazing view

Stayed on the 3rd level of a 5 plex. It was a nice studio with all the amenities. The owners Connie & Doug are very accommodating and quite pleasant. They went out of their way to assure our needs were met. Walk across the street to the beach which has a ramp to walk down, there are no stairs which is awesome! Kept the window open every night and fell asleep listening to the waves. Great view and we saw two whales in the distance. We will definitely stay there again

Just what we needed!

Charm, personality, location, incredible owners … did I say location? We rented the Whale Watcher’s Suite on the top floor for a much needed getaway. The incredible view provided a whale sighting every day during the week of our stay. Connie even loaned us her binoculars for a better view.

Located just across the street from public beach access, the proximity allowed a daily morning stroll along the beach enjoying the waves, solitude and beauty of the Oregon Coast.

While this property is a little older, it’s charm and uniqueness quickly endeared itself to us providing everything we needed to enjoy our stay.

However, the owners, Connie and Doug, are the real treasures. Connie shared some incredible tasting ling cod caught fresh by her husband and son. Friendly, helpful, and so accommodating, they made our stay a memorable one.

Yes, we will definitely return. We love the Oregon coast, local seafood, our walks in the neighborhood and the beach, the location, and especially Doug and Connie who treated us so well. Wonderful memories and a peaceful, beautiful location definitely warrants a return visit!

Wonderful view

We stayed on the first floor. The view was great, from the dining room table, and from the couch.
The place was clean and looked recently remodeled. A fresh carpet, new sleeper sofa, and wonderful tub.
Our host Connie was very gracious.
No stairs to the beach.
We plan on coming back. A lovely restful trip.

Quaint, Comfortable & Reasonable

Clean rooms, comfortable bed and well equipment kitchen. The owners are great and they made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, We recommend this place and would definitely stay again!
